Hello there readers ! Today's post is all about Thai fooood ! I'm talking about those sweet and spicy savory that will have your taste buds aching for more. For those who can handle Thai food this is just the place for you !

Fa Ying by Rama V @ Paradigm Mall

Located at the Ground floor of the Paradigm Mall, this modern Thai  restaurant and bar is a new venture into modern Thai cuisine by the same people who run Rama V on Jalan U Thant in Kuala Lumpur. According to the owner, Fa Ying was the name of the playful sister of Rama V, the revered Thai King who was credited for his modernisation of Siam. The outlet aimed to serve up a “playful” interpretation of Thai cuisine, hence it was named Fa Ying. Pretty neat, I thought, but maybe adding the words “Thai restaurant” on the big signboard would be helpful to its patrons.

The outdoor seating, offers comfy sofa's at the dining area for people who are bringing
more than 5 pax

The bar is located right by the entrance, making it easier for the guest who wish
to only have drinks and chill out for the night

Indoor Dining

Indoor dining were also provided complete with air conditioned for those non smoking patrons and more privacy environment.

Dinner is ready ! 

The thai tom yam were mildly spicy, but the whole dish were balance out out with those seasoned veggies and the chicken cashew nut's ala carte. They were so many popular dish on their menus, but we decided to try on the traditional ones. 

Lets not forget about the dessert, shall we? 

Like most Thai restaurants, Fa Ying serves a wide selection of traditional desserts. I liked the fried banana fritters with vanilla ice cream, and the mango with sticky rice was pretty good as well, but  you could never go wrong with having a slice of that delicious looking chocolate cake over there.

Check, please ! 

I guess for 12 pax, the amount are worth to pay, plus with the nice ambience we definitely wouldn't mind .

We had a good time at Fa Ying and it is definitely worth a revisit. If you are looking for Thai food with a bit of twist, a nice ambience, this is a sweet choice.
