In malay it is called as 'Pau Cendawan', with those soft, creamy, delicious mushroom chicken soup as the filling and chocolate dust as the topping on top, has made it viral throughout the social media.
During this Ramadhan, this pau cendawan are being sold at bazaar Ramadhan Putrajaya Precint 3, with the price of RM3.50 each, and 5 pieces for RM10.
The queue starts as early as 2.30pm even though the stall has yet to open.
When I was there, the queue was 100m long and customers were patiently waiting even though there was no sign of the pau yet.
Once the pau were ready, they were snapped up in just half an hour. The rest in the line had to go home without those fluffy pau's in hand.
The people are willing to queue up almost an hour before the stall is yet to open.The pau looks exactly like a giant mushroom, with creamy chicken mushroom soup as the filling.

RESEPI PAU CENDAWAN VIRAL
Bahan-bahan inti Pau Cendawan
2 bji bawang holand
1 tin cendawan butang
Isi ayam potong kecil
3 sudu butter utk tumis
2 cubit lada hitam yg serbuk
1/2 tin sup cendawan (tin kecil)
3 keping keju cheesedale
3 biji kentang parut
1biji carrot parut jugak
Satu sudu kecil serbuk ayam tumix
Cara-Cara
1. Tumis bawang sampai layu,
2. Masukkan ayam tggu separuh masak
3. Lepas tu masukkan kentang dan carrot tggu sampai lembut
4. Dah lembut masukkan sup cendawan tadi...tggu sampai pekat sikit masukkan keju tadi
5. Taburkan lada hitam, serbuk tumix,gula dn sedikit garam....
Untuk bancuhan coklat
2 sudu serbuk coklat
2 sudu tepung beras
Tambah sedikit air untuk bancuh, bancuh macam korang bancuh water colour tu. Tak pekat sangat dan tak cair sangat.
Untuk Doh
300grm tepung pau
Sedikit garam..(gaulkan 2 bahan ni)
Setengah paket yis mauripan
2 sudu bsr gula
2 sudu besar susu
1 sudu besar shortening
2 sudu besar susu pekat, 2 sudu besar gula kacau dalam setengah gelas air suam. Lepas tu masukkan serbuk yis dan tunggu 15 minit atau sampai yis kembang naik buih. Dah kembang yis masuk kan dalam tepung uli sekejap kemudian tambah shortening. Uli tepung sampai lembut, lepas tu rehat kan doh dalam 20 minit.
Dah rehat dan kembang tumbuk tumbuk sikit doh dan uli lagi sekejap. Bila doh dah lembut bahagikan doh kepada 10. Ambik sikit doh simpan untuk buat batang cendawan.
Doh yang korang bahagikan tadi boleh la isi dgn inti. Dah isi inti sapukan bahagian atas dengan coklat cair tadi dgn menggunakan berus. Tunggu 40 minit baru kukus.
Kukus dengn api besar selama 10minit dan penutup kukus tu balut dgn kain. Kukus batang pau yg telah digentel sekali. Bila dah masak buat lubang belakang pau, selepas itu celupkan batang pau dengan coklat cair tadi, baru masukkan batang cendawan dalam lubang bahagian bawah pau tu. Kemudian kukus lagi 5 minit dan siap untuk di makan.
